About Us
Flickering Candle Productions, LLC, (FCP)
is an Independent motion picture production company
based in Nashville, Tennessee. We are a David in the
motion picture world. We’re not trying to fight the
Goliath of the big budget studio films, instead, our aim
is to rise up and be known for making entertaining
movies within all genres.
Whether the movies are Horror, Sci Fi, Action, Comedy,
or Drama, we want the audience to be a part of it. Our
films do not have the biggest budgets; when you’re as
passionate about visual storytelling and the creative
process as we are, you find a way – you live and breath
the whole process. We’re about making movies – artistic
integrity and discovering ways (some times inventing
them), that bring about the end result we are striving
toward – a movie we’re proud of.
The ever-growing market for, and constantly expanding
technology of digital media, make it possible for
talented artists of any genre to reach a mass audience
today more than ever before. We are among the pioneers
at the forefront of the digital century, carving a path
others will follow and expand upon.
The combined experience of the FCP Founding Partners,
already include substantial success as an Indie on the
playing field among the Majors. Our Director, George
Demick, has, to date, completed more than 10 Independent
films, including work with Horror Film veteran, Stephen
King.
Producing Partner, Chuck Nicholson met George Demick in
Nashville in 2004 and worked alongside him on many of
Ghost Ship Films features. The duo made the obvious step
to form Flickering Candle Productions, LLC, as the
company from which to launch current and future projects
together.
There is always a story behind the story in the making
of such things as Indie Films, and that story is about
all of us dedicated to something so worthwhile it makes
us believe we can achieve the impossible. We would be
honored if you would join us in our journey of movie
magic; you’re our audience and this is your front row
seat. Thank you for coming to the show.
