Production Participants

George Demick, Director

Originally from Pittsburgh, George now calls Middle Tennessee home. As a hobby filmmaker, George become an apprentice to George Romero on his film Knight Riders. During this time, he was introduced to Stephen King and talked the horror novelist into letting him adapt the short story Graveyard Shift into a film.

With an impressive background, from working as a writer, director and editor for Phoenix Productions to forming Black Knight Productions (Blind Terror and Asylum Of Terror), he also wrote and directed for a time for Heartland Production. He then worked as an editor for Euphoric Productions.

The following years have seen him helm the productions of Demon Sight and The Shelter, The Burning Dead, The Ghast and a film noir short entitled Mange. George currently is the Director for Flickering Candle Productions. 

Chuck Nicholson, Producing Partner

Producing Partner, Chuck Nicholson, met George Demick in Nashville in 2004 and worked alongside him on many of Ghost Ship Films features. In 2006, Mr. Nicholson produced Horotica an erotic horror anthology that Mr. Demick directed. Mr. Nicholson brings years of experience and creativity to Flickering Candle Productions L.L.C.


Dark Infestation Crew
Based on the short story, “The Ovid Project,” by Teri Jacobs.  Teri is the author of 2 novels The Void and Secret of the Bones.

Director -  George Demick

Assistant Director -  James Kuenkel  
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, he moved to Nashville about 9 years ago to attend film school. A recent graduate of Watkins College of Art and Design and Watkins Film School with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in Film, James has written and directed three short films.  As an actor, he has been in several commercials and short films.  For Dark Infestation, along with being Assistant Director, James is also the gaffer and boom.

Special Makeup Effects  - Ken Stanley 
A graduate of The Institute of Studio Makeup Ltd. in Hollywood, California, Ken has nearly 20 years experience in the field of special makeup effects.

His credits include construction of a life-sized skeleton puppet and head puppeteer for T.V. pilot Ghost Writer starring Anthony Perkins, horror makeup for L.A. Guns music video, numerous UCLA student film projects, effects master at Utah Shakespearean Festival, makeup effects for Oneonta Road, 48 Hour Film Project, makeup design for Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Boiler Room Theatre, Franklin, Tennessee.

Presently, Ken is the resident makeup effects artist at Performance Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Sound - J.D. Meek , Plaid camel Productions
J.D. ‘s Sound company has done the sound and music for Demon Sight and The Shelter as well as commercials and industrial films.

CGI - Brian Canada  
Brian has done computer-generated images for the movie, Demon Sight, as well as editing an award winning anime short.

Set Decorator/Props - Ginny Nicholson 
This is Ginny’s first feature film.

Construction - Brian Clark 
This is Brian’s first feature.

Slate - Cameron Chaney  
Cameron has worked as a production assistant  on several short films.

Script Supervisor - Debra Yeager 
Debra was the script supervisor on Demon Sight.

An illustrator in Nashville, this is Jennifer’s first feature film.
