Originally from Pittsburgh, George now calls Middle Tennessee home. As a hobby filmmaker, George became an apprentice to George Romero on his film Knight Riders. During this time, he was introduced to Stephen King and talked the horror novelist into letting him adapt the short story Graveyard Shift into a film.

With an impressive background, from working as a writer, director and editor for Phoenix Productions to forming Black Knight Productions (Blind Terror and Asylum Of Terror), he also wrote and directed for a time for Heartland Production. He then worked as an editor for Euphoric Productions.

The following years have seen him helm the productions of Demon Sight and The Shelter, The Burning Dead, The Ghast and a film noir short entitled Mange. George currently is the Director for Flickering Candle Productions.

Chuck Nicholson has been involved with Music and Entertainment on the local level for many years. He as always the man behind the scenes doing filming and concert work. He tried his hand at filming collages set to music in the 60's, and moved to concert work in the 70s. Being a people person, the entertainment industry seemed the perfect vehicle to express himself and so he found himself drawn to it.

Chuck met George in Nashville in 2004 worked alongside him on many of Ghost Ship Films features. In 2006, Chuck produced Horrotica, an erotic horror anthology that George directed. Chuck brings his years of experience and creativity to Flickering Candle Productions L.L.C.

Alana Curtis is originally from New York City and has come to Nashville by way of several other cities. She studied Computer Science at Long Island University, Brooklyn and graduated top of her class. After graduation, she moved to Cincinnati and the later to Las Vegas before finally settling in Nashville. While she never formally studied Photography, it has been a long standing hobby and one she has become quite good at.

Alana met George and Chuck last year. She was looking to expand her portfolio and George thought the poster work would be a good start. After Horrotica, George and Chuck were impressed enough with her work to ask her to try the second film, Dark Infestation.

She and her husband Shawn (featured zombie in Dead Start) were brought in as staff for the first time in the latest production. Alana was one of the photographers on Dead Start as well as the photographer and designer for the movie posters for Horrotica and Dark Infestation.

Recently adding to her duties with Flickering Candle, she redesigned the web site, updated the photo galleries and is working on adding movie clips and trailers.

Ashley is a classically trained pianist from South Carolina. She consistently scored superior in recitals, and won her state competition in 1986 and 1989. She was invited to Converse College and Furman University to perform her award winning piece in 1990. She was accepted to multiple respected schools when she graduated from Easley High School in 1993.

Ashley attended The College of Charleston for their respected music and drama programs, as well as minoring in French and English. In 1995 Ashley quit school to travel, and experience other cultures of music. During this time she developed a deep love for the blues, and purchased an Ashiko Drum, in which she taught herself, in addition to Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele.

Ashley moved to Nashville in 2001 and after some time met George Demick. Through their friendship, she ended up scoring and acting in the The Motion Picture Dead Start. Ashley was able to utilize her music connections in Nashville to round out songs for the film.

Ashley is currently attending Tennessee State University to finish her music degree, as well as studying drama and acting techniques. She is also beginning pre-production on Flickering Candle's up-coming film "Essence of Evil".
